Client: The ALS Association
RNB Communications, partnering with Blackstone Media Group, produces television Public Service Announcement and other media for The ALS Association.
The national PSAs produced by RNB Communications bring awareness to the plight of those suffering from the fatal disease, ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
RNB produced a PSA with World Series-winning pitcher Curt Schilling of the Boston Red Sox. Curt, his wife Shonda, their children, ALS patients and their loved ones participated in a PSA called “Lighting the Way.”
RNB produced another PSA featuring Dr. Richard Olney, a renowned physician who dedicated his life to ALS patient care and research. In 2003, Dr. Olney discovered that, sadly and ironically, he was afflicted with ALS. With great courage, Dr. Olney participated in the PSA and appeared in countless national network and cable broadcasts and print media to share his personal experience with ALS. The PSA and a moving video tribute produced by RNB Communications were excerpted many times during this media sweep.
RNB Communications continues to support The ALS Association through its newest PSA production, featuring Kate Linder, an actress from the daytime TV drama, The Young & the Restless.
RNB Communications is very proud of its affiliation with The ALS Association and has been honored with several Telly Awards for the videos produced on the organization’s behalf.
“The Telly Awards are the icing on the cake! With each prestigious honor, I know that my own impression of RNB’s excellence is shared by professionals across the nation. Thank you to Randy and the entire team for their tremendous creations.”
- Jeff Snyder, Vice President, Communications, The ALS Association
